Support $15/hr at the City's Listening Sessions!

Minneapolis workers have won a mandate for #15forMpls. Our proposal for a $15/hr minimum wage for all Minneapolis workers, with no carve-outs or exemptions, was signed by nearly 20,000 people and won 68% support. The city’s own study confirms that $15/hr would raise wages over 70,000 workers in total -54 % of Latinx and 42% of Black workers in Minneapolis - with no significant impacts on business.

The City of Minneapolis is holding listening sessions around minimum wage. We already know that Minneapolis supports $15/hr, but we can't let Big Business interest groups like the Chamber of Commerce water down our proposal - the Chamber of Commerce publicly lobbied Minneapolis City Council to block $15/hr from the ballot, and is now suing the city in an attempt to block paid sick time implementation next summer.

All sessions are open to the public. We need to pack each one of them to tell City Hall:

Listen to Minneapolis workers. Pass our proposal for $15/hr - NOW!

15 Now will provide signs, or make one with your own unique message! Speak out about why Minneapolis needs $15/hr for all workers, or come to show your support for workers standing up to big business.

The session starts at 6:00pm - arrive at 5:30 if possible to sign up to speak and join 15 Now for a short prep meeting.
